Heart Attack:

A by-pass operation costs some US $41,000. Estimates for overall heart attack costs average some US $212,000. Exercise and diet reduce the risk and cost.

Osteoporosis:

Hip fracture surgery runs to some US $23,000. Many experts say that at least 1/3 of all osteoporotic fractures may have a nutritional basis. Exercise, diet, and supplementation cost little.

  • Reduced incidence of and mortality from cancer.
